F.A.Q.
|
What is the difference between dog walking and pet sitting?
|
Dog walking is a daily service Monday through Friday
while you are at work. Pet sitting includes taking care of your pets
and your house while you are away on vacation or business.
|
| How do I sign up for dogwalking/petsitting? |
It’s easy... Call or email us to set up a free consultation. We will meet
you and your pet together to discuss our services.
This is especially good for your pet.
|
| Do you offer discount/group rates? |
Yes!
Those of you who have your dogs on a weekly dog walking schedule deserve
a break! Discount rates apply to fuel service charges also.
More good news! Sign up 5 or more dogs for our Friendly Neighborhood Program*
for weekly dog walking, and everyone in the group receives a 15% weekly discount.*
(Friendly
Neighborhood Program - 5 or more dogs within a 5 block radius of each other,
that sign up for weekly dog walking).
|
| What's the fuel service charge? |
The Wasatch Front is a large area to cover. Locations outside of the central service area are subject to a fuel charge. Call for details on your area.
|
| Are you insured and bonded? |
Yes. Tailwaggers is a member of Pet Sitters International (PSI), one of leading petsitting organizations worldwide.
|
| What brands of pet food do you recommend? |
We’re happy to discuss pet foods with our clients. For dogs,
we like food that is meat based, such as chicken, lamb or
turkey, rather than corn. Cats usually do well with food
that has high levels of taurine, an essential amino acid.
|
| Can my pets stay at your place? |
Nope. We are not a boarding kennel. Pet sitting is an alternative choice that will allow your pets to stay in the comfort of your own home.
|
| My dog doesn’t like other dogs. Can they be walked alone? |
Yes. All pets have the option of one on one, or group walks.
|
| Can you sit snakes, lizards, and other exotic pets? |
Yep.
