Cancellations require a 24-hour notice. Less than 24-hour notice may result in full fee for booked services, unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.

In the event of an emergency, inclement weather, or natural disaster, Tailwagger’s is entrusted to use best judgment in caring for pets and home. Inclement weather cancellations can be made 24 hours before scheduled appointments, and no later than 7am the day of scheduled service, with mutual consent between Tailwagger’s and pet owners. Cancellations after 7am may result in full fee for booked services.

When returning home from your vacation or out of town appointments, Tailwagger’s will need a confirmation call, letting us know that you are home, and we are relieved of our pet sitting duties. If you do not call Tailwagger’s, we will continue to show up at our scheduled times to care for your pets. If you do not call us to confirm that you are home you may be charged an additional fee. Remember, we at Tailwagger’s live by our motto that “It’s all about the animals.” We will do everything entrusted to us to make sure that every animal under our care is looked after until the owner’s safe return home. So please remember to call and let us know when your vacation is over.

Tailwagger’s professional level of pet sitting insures that we will leave your home exactly the way it is, excluding clean-up that we are specifically hired for.

Tailwagger’s assumes zero responsibility for the clean up & liability of messes made by family, friends, or other helpful neighbors that have access to your house while you are away.
